For the STUDIO VISIT event series, four Freiburg art institutions are cooperating: the Galerie für Gegenwartskunst E-Werk, the Kunstverein, the Museum für Neue Kunst and the PEAC Museum. At regular intervals, one of the four institutions offers a public studio visit in Freiburg. The visits offer the opportunity to gain an insight into the practice of artists in Freiburg at the production site and to enter into dialogue about the work presented. The next studio visit will take place in the studio of artist Cristina Ohlmer and will be organised by the PEAC Museum. Cristina Ohlmer, born in Varese (Italy), lives in Freiburg. She studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart from 1981-1989, including a year abroad in Florence. Cristina Ohlmer works with a wide variety of media and is concerned with ephemerality and transparency. The studio visit is guided by Lea Altner (Co-Director, PEAC Museum).
