Color in Focus. Works from the Paul Ege Art Collection
Duration:1 Stunde
Price:free
The collection presentation highlights the fascinating role of color in art from the 1970s to the present. The starting point of the exhibition is the work of painter and draughtsman Frank Badur (*1944 in Oranienburg, lives and works in Berlin and Finland). His works are characterized by the dynamic interplay between an analytical approach and artistic intuition in handling color. The exhibition unfolds between these two poles, focusing on around 30 works from the Paul Ege Art Collection, supplemented by new productions and loans from artists in the collection. These works open up various thematic areas that address both color materials and the relationship between color and form, as well as the perception and experience of the viewers. The tour provides an informative overview of the collection presentation. In German
